Stay at Masseria Silene
Space, silence and nature as travel companions
Dwellings distributed between trulli (pajare) and restored stone buildings.
Lots of privacy, natural materials, typical of local history. Each environment is unique, welcoming, fresh, elegant.
A small ancient hamlet, that of the old S. Antonio farmhouse, characterised by three buildings that overlook the small square where the old oven, the stone well, and a restored old stable with characteristic star vaults stand, now used as a multi-purpose hall.

The
Stable
(multi-purpose room)
In an ancient, silent stable, overlooked by a double cross vault of exposed tufa stone, there is a room whose south wall offers the guest an original textural artwork by artist Albert Dejda. Using materials that blend the modern with tradition, it evokes the pre-Christian traditions layered in the history of this precious place, thus offering the guest artistic uniqueness and an original setting. The room, which besides books and volumes available to guests houses chairs and tables and a large screen connected to the fibre optic network that supports the entire estate, lends itself as a space for relaxation and, if necessary, for work, including remote work. Other works adorn the interior and exterior of the stone structure, from which the traditional outdoor bread oven rests in the piazza. The room allows for both retreating into the intimacy of reading and connecting with the outside world, or for hosting up to thirty guests for meetings, conferences, gatherings, and ceremonies.
